Gong has been serving as Chairman of Hunan Publishing Investment Holding Group since August 2007 and Chairman of China South Publishing & Media Group since December 2008. He also holds the post of the Chairman of Hunan Publishing Investment Holding Group Financial Co., Ltd since 2014.

Previously, Gong was Deputy Party Secretary, Deputy Chairman and Deputy General Manager of Hunan Publishing Investment Holding Group, and the Proprieter of Xiaoxiang Morning Herald from November 2004 to August 2007.

Earlier in his career, Gong once worked as the first Deputy Director of Theoretical Research Department and office administrator in Hunan Provincial Literary & Art Federation, where he concurrently held the post of Executive Chief Editor of Criticism and Creation magazine. Subsequently, Gong successively served as the Executive Deputy General Manager Hunan Dolton International Hotel, Secretary of CPC General Branch, Director of Newspapers publishing service center of Hunan province, Chief Editor of Xiaoxiang Morning Herald and Vice President of Hunan Publishing Group.

Ding has been serving as the board director and general manager of China South Publishing & Media Group since December 2008.

In 2008, Ding was appointed general manager assistant and the head of books & electronic audio-video department of Hunan Publishing Investment Holding Group. Prior to joining the group, he was the proprieter of Hunan Education Publishing House and the chief editor of Comprehensive Reading for Students magazine. Ding has more than two decades of experience in Editing and Publishing, and has successively worked as the proprietor, manager of publishing services company and Senior Editor in Hunan Yuelu Publishing House where he edited Online club from the year 1985 to 2005.

Gao became the board director, chairman secretary, deputy general manager of China South Publishing & Media Group in November 2008. He was appointed as general manager assistant and head of Restructuring & Listing squad of Hunan Publishing Investment Holding Group the same year.

Gao served as the director of strategic investment department of Hunan Publishing Investment Holding Group till 2008. Before that, he worked in the Strategy and development department of Hunan Publishing Group as a director from 2000 to 2004. Earlier in his career, Gao was the vice-general manager of Hunan Publishing Corporation from 1993 to 2000, and has served for financial department of Hunan Provincial Bureau of Press & Publication from 1985 to 1993.

Shu became board director of China South Publishing & Media Group in January 2012. He served as general manager and chief editor of Red Net from September 2003 to June 2008 after he served as the deputy director of Hunan internet news center from April 2001, and then was appointed executive director of board of Red Net in June 2008.

Earlier in his career, Shu worked in the Hunan provincial propaganda department as the chief of human resources department. From June 1999 to April 2001, he served as an assistant Investigator in the construction project department.

Ji became the independent director of China South Publishing&Media Group in Dec, 2015. Earlier in his career, Ji had successively worked as the dean of the Department of Chinese literature and vice-director of faculty of humanities at Xiangtan University. During year 2000 to 2013, he worked as the director of literature and journalism school at Xiangtan University. Ji is also the former vice-chairman of the social sciences circles union of Hunan Province and former member of Chinese subject teaching steering committee under the ministry of education.

Besides, Ji currently holds the following titles:

Second-grade professor, doctoral supervisor, the head of the doctoral program of comparative literature and world literature, chairman of college academic committee, deputy director of school academic evaluation and development committee at Xiangtan University. The specialist on the panel of National Social Science Planning Office under the propaganda department of the central committee of CPC, the vice-chairman of national society of Marxist literary theory and MAO Zedong literary thought research board, the head of the comparative literature and world literature association of Hunan Province and the specialist who enjoys the State Council Special Allowance.

Ji holds a bachelor degree in Chinese Literature from Sichuan Daxian Normal College and a master degree in Chinese Language and Arts from Renmin University of China.

Chen became the Independent Director of China South Publishing&Media Group in September 2013. He graduated from Hunan University of Finance and Economics in July 1985, where he chose to stay to teach after his graduation. He was promoted to associate professor in 1998, postgraduate tutor in 2000, and professor in March 2006. Earlier in his career, he was the vice executive secretary of Budget Accounting Association of Hunan province, executive member of Hunan price association, member of the chief accountant association of Hunan province, vice president of financial institute of Hunan province and member of financial accounting association of Hunan province.

Jin has been serving as the independent director of China South Publishing & Media Group since May 2015. She got her PhD in Economics in Nankai University. She was the vice-president of the institute of international business and management in Shanghai University of Finance and Economics from 2007 to 2013, and is currently the executive vice-president of the institute above.
